Bryan Espinoza-Prieto

Hello! My name is Bryan Espinoza-Prieto from Lima, Peru. I completed my undergraduate studies at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, focusing on the taxonomy of Frullania and the floristics of bryophytes in Peru. My current work aims to resolve species complexes, evolutionary history, and distribution of this genus in the Neotropics. I integrate fieldwork, herbarium studies, and genomic approaches to delimit species, infer phylogenies, and study evolutionary patterns. In my free time, I love being outdoors, exploring nature, collecting plants, and photography. I have recently started photographing bryophytes for iNaturalist. I also enjoy city nightlife, trying different beers, and solving puzzles. Welcome to my website! E-mail: bespino1@vols.utk.edu
